About Honesty Lighting: Illuminating Your Moments with Integrity

At Honesty Lighting, our story begins not just with a passion for light, but with a deep-seated belief in the power of light to transform spaces and uplift spirits. Our founder's journey to establishing this company was sparked by a simple yet profound love for the joy that a well-lit home or event can bring to people’s lives. Particularly during the Christmas season, he has always been captivated by the way a string of lights can fill hearts with warmth and bring the spirit of not only the holiday itself, but of Jesus Christ, into every home it adorns. It’s a magic he wanted to share, a joy he felt called to create for others.

This calling, however, was also shaped by our founder's experiences within the lighting industry. Before establishing Honesty Lighting, he worked for another lighting company. It was there that he learned the ins and outs of the trade, and for that, he is genuinely grateful. Yet, it was also where his eyes were opened to a troubling reality. Time and again, he witnessed run-ins with other companies in our area, and a pattern of dishonesty became heartbreakingly clear.

He saw customers who were overcharged for basic materials, their excitement dampened by inflated prices. He met families who were promised experienced installation crews, only to have their homes handled by new and untrained individuals year after year. He listened to the frustrations of those who were blindsided by hidden fees and who found that the contracts they signed were not honored.

It’s important to note that our founder doesn’t believe every one of these companies acted with malicious intent. Often, it was a case of being stretched too thin, of lighting being a secondary focus to a “main business", or simply lack of organization. But the result was the same: frustrated customers and a tarnished reputation for an industry that should be about bringing beauty and light. He knew in his heart that there had to be a better way and felt a compelling need to fill the dishonest hole that plagued our community.

Honesty Lighting was born from that conviction. Our founder wanted to create a company that delivered on its promises, a company where integrity was the bedrock of every interaction. He envisioned a business that could provide stunning, high-quality lighting installations without the frustration and disappointment that had become all too common.
